چکیده
Aim of study: The study epigeic arthropods provides information on how ecosystems respond to different management practices. Changes in the structure groups reflect changes ecological status habitats. We assessed influence semi-natural habitats and environmental variables dispersion groups.
 Area Southwestern part Slovakia
Material methods: Between 2018 2020, six barley (Hordeum vulgare L.) fields were selected each year. Five pitfall traps placed field (soil pH moisture, light conditions, soil N, P, K) analysed. collected 8,730 individuals belonging 14 taxonomic groups. sites (habitat, locality name, cadastral area, altitude, coordinates localities) also analysed.
Main results: observed a decrease average number direction from 1 (semi-natural areas) 5 (barley crop) between July August. was similar May June. affected by soil, phosphorus, potassium nitrogen. In beetles model group, which represented highest individuals, we confirmed an increasing with values K, N moisture. neutral optimal for beetles.
Research highlights: ecotone rule does not apply during all months, so have contributed new about rule. Agricultural intensification affects arthropods, group important role functioning agricultural ecosystems.

Lysine Catabolism in Barley (Hordeum vulgare L.).
Lysine catabolism in seedlings of barley (Hordeum vulgare L. var. Emir) was studied by direct injection of the following tracers into the endosperm of the seedlings: aspartic acid-3-(14)C, 2-aminoadipic acid-1-(14)C, saccharopine-(14)C, 2,6-diaminopimelic acid-1-(7)-(14)C, and lysine-1-(14)C. Labeled saccharopine was formed only after the administration of either labeled 2,6-diaminopimelic acid...
متن کاملAllelopathic Plants. 19. Barley (Hordeum vulgare L)
Barley is integrated with other crops to inhibit weed growth, through allelopathic interactions. Effects of barley on growth of other crops, weeds and autotoxicity among cultivars result primarily from allelopathy mediated by allelochemicals released from plant components and/or exuded from living roots. A limited number of allelochemicals are identified that contributes to allelopathic effecti...
متن کاملIdentification of a Phytase Gene in Barley (Hordeum vulgare L.)
BACKGROUND Endogenous phytase plays a crucial role in phytate degradation and is thus closely related to nutrient efficiency in barley products. The understanding of genetic information of phytase in barley can provide a useful tool for breeding new barley varieties with high phytase activity. METHODOLOGY/PRINCIPAL FINDINGS Quantitative trait loci (QTL) analysis for phytase activity was condu...

Current study was set up to determine the response of 12 Iranian winter diploid barley (Hordeum vulgare L.) cultivars to anther culture on solid FHG induction medium supplemented with 90 mg/l sucrose, 2 mg/l 2,4-D and 0.1 mg/l kinetin. For cold pretreatment each selected spike was kept in a refrigerator at 4 C for 14 days. The experimental design consisted of a completely randomized design (CRD...
